During the residency program, he received advanced training in providing dental care for medically and mentally compromised individuals in hospital settings.
Dr. Kwak constantly strengthens his clinical skills and broadens the services he’s able to provide patients. Through continuing education, he has completed LVI courses in cosmetic dentistry. He has also completed many hours of postgraduate studies in dental implant surgeries and restorations, as well as dental care for anxious patients using Level II sedation. He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Drawn to restorative care, Dr. Kwak desires to give patients beautifully healthy and stable smiles. He finds the greatest professional and personal reward when he’s able to successfully restore dental function and beauty for a patient, and increasing the person’s self-esteem and confidence.
A native of Daegu, South Korea, Dr. Kwak has lived in Texas for more than 20 years and in the Katy/Houston area for a decade.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Kwak loves exercising and playing sports, especially tennis and golf. He works out several times a week, and spends many Sundays on golf courses. He loves to travel, spend time with his family and good friends, play the guitar, decorate, and cook.
In addition, Dr. Kwak participates in many church-related activities, including volunteering with the elderly and teaching youth.
